Weakening of pelvic floor muscle and reduced urethral closure pressure.

More common in females with multiparity, obesity, chronic cough, constipation and elderly.

Increased intra-abominal pressure.

The complaint of involuntary urinary leakage on effort or exertion, or on sneezing or coughing. |
